Process
With a quick turn around time for this project, I alongside the Xperiel design team quickly sketched what needed and requested of the client. A whiteboard sketching session made it efficient with a short amount of time to make it clear what was needed for this project. Push Button, Get Prizes was showcased at the Cleveland Cavaliers arena and consisted of a fan utilized iPad app, media target television designs, and email promotions.
Role
Along side two other designers, my role on this project was to design the media targets shown on the televisions within the Cleveland Cavaliers arena to entice fans at the game to push a button and win a prize. Mid way through designing I came across a challenge I wasn’t prepared for. The client had a change with dimensions and the use of screens. I had to pivot quickly to accommodate this change while still keeping the same information that needed to be displayed. After some thinking on my own and collaboration with the design team, I was able to provide a quick update to the media target screens. I designed the media target screens with Principle, Photoshop, and Sketch.
Fan Engagement
Along with the help of the Cleveland Cavaliers social media, this project became popular and drew in long lines to play Push Button, Get Prizes for the Cleveland Cavaliers last game of the 2018-2019 season.
